Alongside morality
Creeps an ever-advancing immorality
Giving hope a dull edge,
Always on the verge
Of something beautiful and worthy,
Or indefensible.

I would like to pick a side,
But I am a coward, and I own it.

Better to wait until the end
And go with the winner.

    It's a constant struggle. That's all I'm gonna say.

Hmm, a battle between self & indecision. Excellent tone in this piece!
