Dinny, din, din

Dinny Din Din.

Look in to the devil with sweetness
Or find me some guy without sin
In cool blooded passion
So bold in your fashion
Look through the hole in your dinny, din, din.

It takes but a scratch to the surface
To peer at the shape we’re all in
Just under that layer you’ll find there a slayer
Who fills your whole head with that dinny, din, din.

It’s a fix, it’s a fix we’re all in
Those fashions and such going by
You know we’re told all those whys
As we hear frightened cries
As we’re caught in the noise of our dinny, din, din.

We’re caught in life’s dreams sweet and sour
As everything’s moving within
With the force of our fright
Our bonds are made tight
As we’re locked in the cage of our dinny din, din
Dinny, din, din.

Hahahaha. Dem voices be takin' over yer head? I had me a very good laugh now at your dinny-din-dins. I think you will enjoy my "Hostile head takeover". Kinda longish, so I submitted it in two parts. Very entertaining write which I enjoyed reading, my talented friend. Licia :-)

Thank you Lysia. I wrote that poem in the some years ago when I was caught in the throes of PTSD. I no longer take notice of these voices. I will seek out your poem and read. I appreciate your comments my friend....peter

Thank you Skat, I am glad I made you smile, the whole World needs to smile more .I had never heard of Dinny, din, din, and I actually thought that it was my own. I just thought about the din that used to be in my head, and added the din, din. Perhaps I heard it somewhere. I really appreciate you putting me on your fav poet list, I am sure my humble writings don't deserve it.
