She Waits

She Waits with wanton desires
It's been six months out to sea

She read from his words
He did not disappoint her

Words of love & lust dripped
From Lavender scented pages

She longed to read those words
Seemed forever and a day

You know where to stand
Where I can see all of your glory

Do not wash, I dream of your smell
So there she stood "waiting "
For the captain of her heart!

Toe-n-Toe and the flow tween toe n toe, it rose to a fever pitch, tween her thighs she gripped him, just so! the heat of the flesh ceased to itch, just a bit..... but he was rising and rising some more, though.... till into the blackness, exhaustion he slipped......Don re:Debbie Duncan "She Waits"

Very romantic! How hard it must be for wives/lovers when their men are away at sea with no idea when they will return. Well done Donna! Best wishes, Keith

Hi, Debbie … I love well-writ arousing poetry, and you've definitely stirred me in all the right places with this one. As a sailor, there is o much dancing forth from your words I relate to, especially: "You know where to stand Where I can see all of your glory Do not wash, I dream of your smell" Stimulating imagery, Milady. Warmest hug of thanks to you, Debbie ~ Richard

Debbie, you are being very romantic, and also you tap into the senses. Now, I never know whether you are writing from some kind of personal experience or from empathy with something you've seen or perhaps something completely different. I always want to know what inspires a poet's words. However, now you always have me guessing. In any case, it is a pleasure to see what you've created. Thank-you for all your comments and kindness. CIAO!
