This world is often angry and seldom
Any bit of the joy in which it was built.
Humans stab each other in the back
As if that is their only true purpose in life.
They cut the throats of their friends and
Drink the blood of their family members.
Everybody looks to the other with hope,
But it is a vicious and evil hope I see.
They only hope they don't take the blame,
They only hope not to fall from their high.
What is a world worth when no nobody
Knows that they're loved and cherished
By a higher and more glorious power?
I want to know what God thinks,
What he thinks when he sees us here.
I wouldn't be surprised at all to find
That even God has abandoned faith.
We take advantage of everything
We can without suffering from pain,
Too scared to leave our darkness
For fear of some unfamiliar rain.
Tell me what it is that you think,
Since you of all know everything,
Just what's wrong with this world?
