THE DANGER OF SPRING THUNDER CLOUDS or nice guys finish last

the danger of spring thunder clouds

                            sunray glimmered love
                            wantonly enticed darker wilder winds
                            chose thunder-- not me

Damn, some very strong lines here. Ah, the power of thunder. As with Elai, I believe this is 1 too many for a Haiku. But, either way, this rocked!

No problem! I'm not overly sensitive about stuff like that. It's silly to do that. The message was clear & poignant here. In the end, that's what matters. :)

thanks Drake...think that in the modern world Haiku can be variable in syllables. originally, I learned it MUST be 1, 3, 1....obviously, that rule is no longer the order of the day....sorry if it was a bother...should never post in the middle of the night either....thanks for reading...Victoria

good day Victoria i love the imagery here and how it indirectly told the flaming fire of love using the sounds and appearance of nature. But i am confused about the pattern of ur haiku 6/8/6 compare to the original form of Haiku 5/7/5 but anyway this is pretty cool!...keep smiling---ELAI
