We are able to see, hear and talk
We are able to do stuff and freely walk
Not an obstacle in our way
Lighted, is our every night and day
We wouldn't want to live in darkness?
But we cannot see the people who suffer from blindness
So busy in our lives that we forget somebody
Who cannot see or hear anybody
We call them names - 'the deaf' or 'the blind'
Truth is, we are the ones who are really deaf and blind
We cannot see their pain, we cannot hear them cry
Until the tears from their mournful eyes dry
We are in comfort, but yet we complain
And forget about the people in pain
We thank them for making us think
That there is darkness within every blink
