Jesus Wants to Be YOUR Lord

Jesus wants to be your lord!
In all that you do!
He desires this, because of his love
for YOU!

He’ll be there for you,
when help is needed!
He’ll bring the victory,
when you feel defeated!

Whosoever will, can receive the life he gives!
He’s so patient, kind and willing to forgive!

Won’t you make Jesus the focus
of your attention?
He’ll turn your life around!
Into a Godly direction!

He’s our righteousness! He is everything!
He’s the master of the heavens!
And can do anything!

Won’t you accept his invitation?
 And listen to his call?
Won’t you invite him in, to be the lord of ALL?

He’s the answer to your problems!
And whatever you need!
Why not give his spirit,
 the opportunity to lead?

Please come Lord Jesus,
 and be our Lord today!
Please come and lead us
 into your righteous way!

Lovely and inspiring poem, Jim. My favorite line is, "Why not give his spirit, the opportunity to lead?" So much truth in this one. guess what? This morning, outside my window, came a grey dove, just looking at me and watching, then came his mate. They watched for a few moments then flew off. Now, this time when I sat down at my computer, a white dove appeared on the fence, looking in on me, and in his beak, was a branch. I had never seen a dove before...so to me it holds special meaning. I think of the dove with the olive branch, being a symbol of peace, and i think that perhaps this is a message to me from God, that I am not forgotten, and he gives me peace. hugs, catie :)
