church tryst

my new guy and I

*play handsies in the back pew. . .

the preacher drones on

*for some people this means mutual caressing of
the fingers and palm of your partners hand
and can actually be a very engaging activity!

Ha...my favorite thing about church is my wife running her fingernails up and down my arm...;) This is like a senryu should be. Good one! And those poems were The Flood of 2011 and Nameless Blame, but you already visited those...pretty sure you did. I have some to post but I'm not really finding the time right now...gotta run..bye,bye

  1. Date: 5/23/2013 12:44:00 PM

Yes, compared to handsies, footsies have a much better chance of going unnoticed.:) Nice senryu Andrea. very sweet and witty!

    haha

Nope, never! Sad, yes-no?... as far as replying to comments go if I actually want people to notice I just start another comment (because no one gets notified if someone replies to your comment). Someday this "handsies" might be tried... but for now I'm a Lone Wolf... lol.

Yes, I usually don't do comments like this but this is one time I will keep doing it just for one under this one poem. Sorry for you, lone Wolf. Guess what? I once dated a native american named John Lone wolf. I wonder what happened to that guy. He found me very"frivolous."

Well because my family has had bad experiences with church in the past we no longer attend one (we just do family services at the house)... Also I don't know a whole lot of people I could try that with... ha ha ha...

come on now. An attractive guy like you has no girl to play handsies with like in a movie theater or something?? Awww, that is a crying shame.
  1. Date: 5/23/2013 9:04:00 AM

Very nice Senryu here Andrea.Gotta try handsies!

For me it is the sign of a good lover! If they can turn a girl on with handsies, you can imagine how good they might be elsewhere!!
  1. Date: 5/23/2013 8:16:00 AM

Try Footsies, less chance of being caught *lol*

hahaha. Footsies would be nice too. I never had anyone try that with me. DANG

    too long
  1. Date: 5/22/2013 11:48:00 PM

This is very interesting! I've never heard of "handsies in the back pew", but there's something about the image that is hilarious (I think of scenes in an episode of Simpsons... the preacher's monotone sermons mixed with Homer's halfway dirty thoughts). One of the most engaging senryu I have read, recently... great work!

you have never even heard of it? You are so young not to even be trying this anywhere, Timothy!!! You don't know what you are missing.
