To honest for your own good Mary I kept saying Remember Fort Gordon when you flew in for the weekend I met you at the Airport on crutches Losing a leg in V.N. was almost worth it to see the look of love in your eyes For the way you almost nocked me down with our first hug Then when we tried to rent a car The sales man asked "Are you married?" In unison we answered I said yes and you said no And the salesman said "Come back when you make up your mind I loved you so much that day You and your inconvenient truth my love You and your inconvenient truth
