Somebody

No, he is not my friend.
He's not my enemy.
We are just strangers,
with memories.
We stopped talking,
If we see each other,
We keep on walking.
I don't know what he thinks.
If he even has those thoughts...
I would doubt that...
He could have told me,
Plenty of times,
And he still wouldn't have me bought.

Danielle, i like your open mind to the memories that don't matter, or feelings that would not make a difference. Your poem reminds me of a song called "Somebody I use to know." and if you ever consider changing the title to the poem... you should go with the word "SOMEBODY."... The word can take you deeper than a memory... I enjoyed your poem.. thank you for sharing.. Linda

The title is good as it is Danielle. - A friendship that you've "grown" from, have no more words to share. - I like it, well done my friend. - Have a nice day. - oxox / / Anne-Lise :)
