Metal Burns, So Does Your Heart

You’re dreams are all that you know
But this is the final blow
Satisfaction’s the only thing you chase
You better hope you’re not too late

This may be the end of the world
But I swear to you
This won’t be the end of me
This may be the end of all that we know
But I swear to you
God is in control

When the world falls apart
You lose everything you are
When your foundation starts to fall
It’s impossible for you to stand tall

Hate is looking at you in the face
But you refuse to leave this place
Inside it’s killing you that you’ve
Come to Nothing
You’ve come to Nothing

This may be the end of the world
But I swear to you
This won’t be the end of me
This may be the end of all that we know
But I swear to you
God is in control

When you lose your possessions
You escape your confessions
When trouble shows its face
You always lose your faith

Hear my words
In the end
You’re gonna learn
Hear my words
In the end
Your crown is gonna burn
