SPRING SPRUNG

SPRING SPRUNG

first buds
        sprung from doldrums
this motionless hurry

giant bird
after all these winters
has found its way.

cat sense
    and so quiet
at the open window

fluttering things
      dropping from bare branches
               spring sprung

all in ruin silently wait first buds
