I like the literary contrast in this piece. At first glance we are used to looking at stars, but you have change the imagery to listening to stars... its an amazing delight to capture the sound of nature

I "listen" often to the stars Russell .... a sky full of stars .... a universe as deep and the distant that I get the feeling of being just a tiny, tiny spot in the great unknown. - Good luck in the contest, with your lovely poem. - Have a relaxing weekend. - oxox / / Anne-Lise :)

This is my last poem for the night, I got lucky, it not only made me smile, but I will make it my prelude of my evening peace, thank you sweet Sir, and have a restful night too, and tomorrow, I will see you here again, bright and early, my favorite line is "the stars go ping a ting a ling" Priceless my friend, I am cupping one to my ear now as we speak, smile, xxxx
