"Listen and I will teach the wisdom of the wise". A wealth of experience , a repository of wisdom. ..Yes, the young should listen. Great poem.

This sure must capture the feelings of an older person. All they really want is to really be "seen" and understood because there is much to endure. Not sure where the poem about your son is. Anyway, maybe you can leave a comment and tell me. LUv, Andrea

Thank you for reading this. I see such sadness in their faces sometimes and wonder what they are thinking. Memories of My Son is the poem about my son. Thank you again

Betty, thank you for the touch image in your poem. Old age is one of the most tender moments one should touch and feel... enjoyed the poem, and mostly I enjoyed the expression you lay at the end... ... no place for sissies... always~ LINDA
