First Impressions

He looked down at her with blazing blue eyes. She thought it was the coldest stare she'd ever seen, yet it set her body on fire. She found herself lost in it, in the grip of its rage and mystery. She felt her toes curling in electric shock, which raced up and over the length of her, pulling invisible hairs and teasing her curiosity. She began to ache in her stomach and the throb beat at her thighs. She reached down and squeezed them, digging in her fingernails, hoping to feel the pain. But the line between pain and pleasure had merged into a devil of lust and red fury. In the singular, eternal moment before she gave in to the pulsing beat that rocked her, he turned and walked away. The trance left in a shudder as she sucked in a breath and muttered,
  "You bastard."

Intense! That's the one word I think of when I read this - intense! Really wishing you well on your book ventures! I've heard a saying once, as advice for aspiring authors. It went "A page a day means a book a year"... that is about the average length of a book anyhow...

Well well! This is certainly different from your previous work! It just goes to show that you can literally write anything. I was particularly taken with the electric shock description. I have to get my hands on this book when it's done! I want a signed copy! haha. Also, your "not a soup flirt" comment made me laugh. Thank you for the compliment! :)

going back to your other avatazr pic-- I actually was able to get a REAL good look at it before you changed it and I actually DID see your face! Honestly?? I felt like I was viewing those 5D images (or is it 4D) those magic eye thingies?? and then, wonder of all wonders, I SAW it-- it was an amazing, feel good feeling when the image CLICKED-- DUHHH I can be so blind sometimes~! Thanks for telling me it was your face-- yes, the camo definitely worked!!

If this is part of your fiction work, I hope you finish it soon, sounds intriguing and very promising! Btw. thank you for passing by my write for Linda and Royal-- and for telling me about your avatar! Now I see it is different! That is such a cute girl, is she your daughter? I can only imagine what made her scream (is she screaming?) --kids are so adorable!
