A Sudden Vision

I recall it was October For the season had turned over And the golden leaves of autumn were yet clinging to the vine When I took my leave and pardon As I stepped out in the gardon And beheld a sudden vision quite sublime All about me was a glimmer As the atmosphere did shimmer Then a golden dream of knowing filled my mind It was a knowing without knowing As the visions started flowing And the starwheel took me spining out of time

Ok Michael. Umm... I liked this poem but I struggled with the presentation. The way that it was broken up and scattered about was rather distracting. It took me several reads to bring it together and get the true feel of the poem. When I did I found that it was quite a good read. But when I find a poem that I have to work at, I just usually move on. I'm glad that I didn't do that this time. "The golden leaves of Autumn were yet clinging to the vine" was an excellent line. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Michael...In my book, I am working on a section about near death experiences... and I would like to be able to quote your account of your experience, and then add a slight comment on the validity of it. You know I do believe it to be valid, I think I've told you that before. But anyway, I would like to use your name, and document your experience as you have related it to me. If...you have any additions to make to it, or would rather not have it made public, just let me know. hugs, Catie :)
