Alone in Good Company

When this man falls
Who will catch him?
When this man cries
Who will comfort him?
When this man fights
Who will stand by him?
When this man fears
Who will assure him?
When this man loses himself
Who will find him?
When this man is alone
Who will be with him?
And when this man dies
Who will remember?
That he was a man
Who couldn't answer these questions

This was a really good write. Drew me in from the beginning with the questions and the end. We cannot answer questions that we don't know yet. Only in time... SO good!

first in response to what you said at my poem about lady bugs, I think if someone were to dip a grasshopper in chocolate (and not tell me what was under the chocolate) I probably could eat it!! About your storm. How did it turn out? I got to bed pretty late, but 5 hours of sleep is typical for me these nights! Right now I feel really sleepy though and it's only 3:30 in the afternoon!! Now onto a poem I have not read yet!

You just blew my mind a little bit with those last four lines. It seems the majority of a persons being will never be known during this life. Because the majority of a man's problems, doubts, questions, insecurities - are never vocally spoken. Well penned indeed!

The voices in my head have all the answers to those questions. I listen to the buggers. Most times they make more sense than I do. lol. Nice one, Caleb. I like :)

Very different than your usual writing, Caleb, one is never lost, often we can't see the forest for the trees, but I see you, here is a petal for you, take care, xxx
