The Fool

She loves him
So he hates her
She cares for him
So he neglects her
She wants him
So he forgets her
And regrets it all
When she's gone

       -Caleb A. Smith-...........written for a fool I know.............

--"So if you find someone that gives you all of her love
Take it to your heart, don't let it stray
     For one thing that's certain
     You will surely be a-hurtin'
If you throw it all away." *From, 'I Threw It All Away'
                                                               --Bob Dylan--

There's more than a few people like this. The one I knew ended up divorced after several kids. He did have a really good sense of humor and everyone loved him for a while.

Love this poem Caleb, and so true. Sometimes a love in one's heart can be taken for granted and missed when it's no longer there. Wishing you a great weekend. Hugs and luv, Gail

I know a fool just like this, Caleb. Well-stated - short, blunt, and effective. I also love the Bob Dylan quote!
