Soul Dropper

It's been weeks, but you, Royal and Linda have been on my mind...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If only I could find the words
to comfort your grieving hearts,
I would gather them all up,
put them in a box

and wrap it up all pretty,
even put a blue plush unicorn on top.
HUG it.

then send them to you...

Sadly I don't :(

I know words sometimes aren't enough.

When one loses someone they love, does one ever heal?

I think I lied in my other poem, saying that time can heal.

I don't feel it fully can.

When you lose someone who's been in your heart,
that hole can never be patched up...
I see it as being kept in a chamber of your heart,
A place where maybe you alone can reach.

Share that pain, and as hard as it may seem,
please take comfort to know that Bael is loved.

He shares your hearts, beats through you, it would be impossible
that he didn't feel that love.

Continue sharing that love, and he lives on.

I truly believe in this, and I am hoping that even in some
tiny way, you can seek comfort knowing that he knew, he Felt
how loved he is.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Linda, I hope you don't mind me using "Soul Dropper"

That was the term you used in one of my poems from way before,
when you told me about what happened, it felt like a part of my soul
dropped for you...

Again, I'm just truly sorry for your loss and this is one of the best ways
I can express it right now.... God bless you both and your family. <3

I would like permission to inc this recent quote of yrs in my nxt kindle ebook.'Reciting your own poem gives it another dimension.I am one who thinks that once a poem is shared,it is not wholly yours anymore, it is like giving a part of yourself to the reader, since they can interpret it any way they want, read it aloud any way they want.If you read it, gives it an actual voice, there is something more of yourself that you give to it, giving more to the audience to ponder on' Pls soupmail reply

Oh, and my avatar..haha. You know, I've had several people ask me what it was, which is funny to me because I see it, I guess. ITS ME!...With a face painted in black and green camo...lol. In the picture, I'm sitting in a chair with my elbows on my knees. I'm wearing a black A-shirt(muscle shirt) Hope that helps. I guess the camo is doing its job! Where's Caleb?!

Nikko, I love seeing Bael's name on the poem. My daughter and I mention his name when talking about him, it is a lovely feeling. I will always cherish the lovely time we had with, Bael... you should have seen him, when he was born, a true gift from God, sadly he was not for keeps. Thanks for being there with me, and giving me the little comfort I needed that very moment. It helped when i had to hold my daughter when she was full of tears. You gave me a little bit of strength, I'm glad I did not fall apart the way I wanted that very moment. thank you for this precious poem. And you are right sometimes words are not enough. But, knowing others care, helps us pull through. thank you for the magic feeling when it comes to friendship.. xox~ Linda
