AN INVITATION TO BETRAYAL Sapphic stanza

                                     AN INVITATION TO BETRAYAL

                         Felt the tickling of spring upon my upturned face

                         Felt the thunder-beating of my unfaithful heart

                         Took the outstretched hand that sought to guide me into bliss;

                         Sweetly I fell…..
