Carrie, you took the ancient cherry blossom haiku theme, and added your own twist to it, instead of falling into cloned redundancy. Thank goodness for that -- wot an enjoyable haiku read for me. I like your juxtaposition: you accentuate the blossom imagery of the first two lines with it, and add the sundown element, as opposed to creating a super-wide juxt that sort of pulls in a random piece of imagery under the guise of "creating a wider picture"(as in, the first two lines of a haiku describe a squirrel eating a walnut in the grass, and the juxt of the 3rd line is: "chimney" -- wot!? Ha ha!).
