Scourge

I sit on a chair facing a round table
    Bones weak, muscle aches- unable
I lay my hands on my lap
    Thoughts of prayer, I grab
Seeking help from start to end
    Though my mind can't trend
I could feel my angel has led
At this time, what my soul has craved

Accusing faces I don't seem to know
    Pointing fingers and eyes glow
In anger, cheeks are blown away
With rush of blood-flushed and gray
Silently-a second- my eyes are closed
For strength at this hour I can't lose
    Your hand-Lord-must hold me up
To draw me up from nearing collapse

They say words, I don't understand
Pressing faults, neither I do nor I withstand
Accusers ears bolted, no time to hear
Voices high - full of lies and err
Every phrase they blare is not fair
What they believe, they hold it clear

At this hour, I'm seeking what is right
I want to correct and put everything to light
My desire, I intend to let them hear my side
Clear my name and tell them what myself-abide
But their intent is to push me against the wall
So to show they are upright, and I am left to lament
    my befall..

Oh Lord, I must step out awhile from this disgrace
To know how lovely is your stead and grace
I want to walk with you where green vales I see
To where my scourge body lies and could be
And hear the thunder of storm, feel the rain
And wash up me clean, away from this bane

In your world ,Oh Lord, the flowers have bloomed
But my eyes are tired and always in gloom
How can I appreciate, your lovely and perfect creation
If I am on this state, full woe and depression
Full of anger, full of disdain- I have contained
You, I can rely, to come and release me from chain

What else shall I long, this life may be bright
As bright as the morning sunrise, I see light
From the night so dark and soaked with tears
My restless limbs and thoughts reign all fears
I come by to a musing and lonely stream
And it sings a melodious praise, to reclaim my
    vanishing dream..
