How Autumn Rushed Upon Me

How autumn rushed upon me With that wind out on the knoll As if a warlock from some leafy mist Reached out to check my soul As you inhaled my freedom With your carnal looking eyes And the last of love coagulates The counterstroke of lies Oh Did you say you loved me I know some words were said Before you left our castle For the rainbows jn your head

I am just wondering, Michael, how about "Her autumn rushed upon me" I think that sets the stage for her change....also, in this line "some words where" shouldn't it have been, "some words were?" Anyway, I do love this poem, but it breaks my heart that you have gone through such pain. I have too. hugs, Catie :)

Thank you for the spell check. I think changing How to Her puts middle age on the poem. I leave it to each reader to figure out.Enjoy all suggestions! Glad we fight the good fight Catie, I like talking with you, hugs to you.
