This is brilliantly written. I relate to the lines 'A half-lit light casts a shadow on the flock wallpaper, ink stained. He sits hidden from view, away from plagiaristic eyes. Head In hand Scribbling while listening for a new word, a muse sings, emanating an un-heard Beat that guides his rhythm while searching for that elusive vowel. On the floor Is a scattering of pencil shavings and broken lead, frustration at the loss of an adjective. The half rhyme squeezes like a tourniquet SOOO TRUE!

Brilliant, David! The Kwansaba family, standing 7 rows deep, gives you a 49-gun salute!

The half rhyme stands clapping...While yelling "Bravissimo!"...."Bravissimo!"...As he sits back down,he pushes save/send to Fav file On his I-pad.On his face is a smile that he carries across the room,as he slowly exits the door. :o) Outstanding!

I have read this poem about 10 times, and still find it the most descriptive, inclusive array of poetic choices. I strive to learn amore about these various genre's of poetry. My absolute favourite line in this poem is... "the notes drift across the room, resting on the floor, congealing into a poet-tree fountain...".
