An Understanding

By day he was a Carpenter,
at moonlight a Spinner of Spells,
	professions alike in that
	both were Makers,
	one of reality,
	one of illusion.
His aim was to shelter his selves,
yet something dawned on his mind,
	an understanding that
	there had come a time
	when he must go
	into unknown country.
	Knowing this to be true,
	ignoring his otherwise cautious nature,
	he bowed to himself,
	turned on his heel,
	went below the surface,
	where serenity became his life,
	without incidents
	of reality
	or illusion.

Mysterious write. It's vague in the best possible way!

Occasionally a little mystery is good. "Vague" is apparently the condition of my mind these days. Jack

Indeed he did, and of choice. Thanks for reading it. I'm glad you enjoyed it, even if it was a bit obscure. Jack
