A jIlted GenErEAtIoN
Muted but you know what is the actual topic of conversation
And now feels like we are living in sort of jilted generation
People walking on egg shells, unsure what one can say
Talking of fights and rows, it is now happing every day
If looks could kill ,eyes wide like a hawk, like a giant vulture
Will one not stop and talk to somebody from another culture?
Were told to celebrate diversity, to get along with one another
And still hate and adversity, over the sake of one's skin colour
Is it about a sense of one's pride or is it fitting into one's crew
It's like this giant divide do not care if your pink, black or blue
I mean come on people is it really important dose it so matter?
If you judge, I think it should be on personality on one's character
Is it about race or is it about one's heritage?, a loss of one's history
Is it just stating ones place?, like him or her marking there territory
This dose sound controversial I was always told to speak my mind
People now a days look so miserable, people wondering round blind
People looking frightened, everyone all around now are all so wary
But they say every man is his own island or his own worsted enemy
Some say they feel like a minority there frustrated by all this immigration
But It's always been a multicultural society, now I feel a jilted generation
written June July 2012 i wrote this because I noticed at time a lot of other soup
members had wrote on same topic this was also inspired by one I wrote called
worlds state which was originally called world in my eyes
this what I think we are living in now things have changed so much over the last six years or so
just makes the future look bleak and scary its like going back to the forties
you cant go and allo f sudden change the world back after fifty years or so
everyone has different beliefs views and up bringing
this was already on soup but again like others recently just tweaked a bit
