About This Poem
Rays of Light
From the sky, rays that lift the hearts of men
Beams on down upon the beautiful sea
The sun brings its glory, does go and send
Allows a meekness about what’s empty
Gleaning everything from what I can see
Beauty is within the air, surely free
Seeming a shining moment seen humbly
The rays do devour the darkness, brings hope
Harboring light in itself completely
Letting life in, allowing one to cope
