Bellow an Umbrella

Rain seems to fall under my umbrella Down below it falls directly on me It leaves an impression, a firm aura The wetness of the water simply sees Down below it falls directly on me The rain flows right onto my tender face The wetness of the water simply sees And shows me how the rain falls into place The rain flows right onto my tender face Under the umbrella it seems real safe And shows me how the rain falls into place The rain seems to rub on the neck and chafe Under the umbrella it seems real safe But the rain comes down below the cover The rain seems to rub on the neck and chafe Leaving one wet and feeling depressed more But the rain comes down below the cover It leaves an impression, a firm aura Leaving one wet and feeling depressed more Rain seems to fall under my umbrella

This is an excellent pantoum and a very delightful one to read my dear friend Russell! I extremely enjoyed reading it this afternoon. I have tried this form once before but I failed. I hope I can try it again next time. You're really very talented poet that's the reason you're one of my favs. Thank you so much for sharing your gems. Thank you so much also for the very wonderful & inspiring comments on my poems. Have a great and blessed day always my dear friend! love & hugs, Leonora

Remind me that I buy you a new umbrella for Christmas gift, Russell. - Summer rain in your hair means good luck but now early spring means colds! - A very good poem in a form that I do not know anything about. - But, you're good. - Thanks for your comments on my Haiku. - oxox / / Anne-Lise :)

Russell, you captured the Pantoum, a very difficult form, for me anyways and it sounds like you have a useless umbrella, I think I have the same kind, always end up wet, constance
