About This Poem

The Evolution of Music 2

Ludwig Van Beethoven played piano
with passion and sorrow,
But did he notice the crowds awestruck breath?
(For I heard he was deaf)

Ray Charles came some centuries after
bringing soul and laughter,
He didn't miss the sight of pretty girls
for music was his world.

Now there's Youtubers like Ronald Jenkees
expressing with such ease,
View by precious view, slowly tasting fame,
like Beethoven or Ray.

Music inspires me and I like attempting to honor famous musicians. Ronald Jenkees isn't quite famous yet... but he has amazing talent! As always thanks for your support!

Yup... they were all pianists (however Ronald is technically a keyboardist... though he likes to call himself a keytarist, lol). Geez Andrea you read and commented on so many of my poems! Thank you!

Ray was actually quite the ladies man. His sight never held him back, his hands were his eyes and he had wandering eyes.

Haha good to know! Truth be told I don't know much about him, but there's no doubt he's a musical legend...

It's so awesome that you know who it is I'm talking about! I was afraid no one would get it... but just watching him bust out on his keys is inspiring to watch, let alone the incredible sound...

Wherever your thoughts take you I'm glad you thought to pick up the pen when you did :) I have a vast variety of musical tastes so I tend to write about them a lot...
