Take a chance on me baby

Can you tell me, the kiss we share, Didn’t spark a doused flare? I can’t tell you good bye, Without spilling a tear from my eye. Can you tell me, that holding me, Doesn’t bring back a memory? Can you see me, then, running after your car? Can you tell me, now, that my love wouldn’t be up to par? We measure the years by the hurt, we’ve felt, By the unfair love, we’ve been dealt. Forget them. Let’s show em’ what it’s all about. What’s holding you back? There’s no love, I lack. Take a chance on me baby. Written: 3/13/13
