Pen of Life
The story of my life is written in pen
when i make a mistake that is when
I wish I could go back and change
erase a little, rearrange
pencils are my favorite to use
because then you can’t abuse
the power that comes with words
for many miles they can be herd
some people help along the way
some of them can even sway
my opinions and my views
all of them know how to use
words to make people bend
even put war to an end
words come in handy you see
that is why i wish to be
able to use a pen instead
that way when i end up dead
not only will i have won some bets
but i will have no regrets
