About This Poem
Texting, Messaging and Emails
I prefer texting, messaging and emails generally
as a better form of communication for yours truly,
because while I am civil and polite enough
to allow others to complete a verbal thought,
others in turn in mid sentence tend to interrupt and cut me off.
That's when I throw in the towel and have nothing further to say,
because they are not interested in my opinion anyway.
Most people I find have absolutely no self discipline
to restrain themselves from interrupting
whenever someone responds in a conversation,
and for me that is very sad and very frustrating.
