Charmaine! I just listened to you on Drake's show, reciting Mother and Child (I missed the live show, but I listened to the recording just now.) It was so great to hear you read this poem! You're such a sweet lady, awesome mama, beautiful soul, lovely friend. ~hugs

Written as only a sweet loving mother could write. Dad's feel exactly the same way but do not possess a mother's touch and soul. A beautiful write, dear Charmaine! Love and big hugs, Jack xox

Well, I don't know where to begin here Charma...'And she said' to introduce both verses, the repeating two lines to start each verse and the almost constant repetition of 'compared to' in the first verse (Must admit I got a little misty-eyed too) A real beauty my friend - Tim

I agree, a young life is such a miracle that some people just overlook in their own ambitions. When children are lovingly cared for, that will make them the best person they can be, and they will carry on a good legacy from you. What could be better than that?
