About This Poem
In Summer's Passion
In Summer’s Passion
Butterflies are seen
Swaying their angel wings
Through the warm breeze of summer
Magically taking me away from winter’s slumber
Flowers all decorated in bloom
Spay their luxurious perfumes
Creating a season’s reaction
In summer’s passion
Baby birds learn how to fly
Trying to expand their wings up high
To reach the sky in its hues
Of the beautiful color of blue
A carpet of green grass below
Allows the life beneath to grow
So it may show a beautiful fashion
In summer’s passion
I open my eyes slowly
To find me out of a dream
Awakened to a season already in action
In Summer’s passion
