Breathing Poetry
God's creation is my stimulus
This great cosmos is so fabulous
It spurs my crreative faculties
And heightens my sensibilities.
Infusing me with cognitive thought
Inspiration from little things sought
As my quill breathes life into pages
Like releasing of birds from cages.
Poets from PoetrySoup impart
Their vibrant knowledge, poetic art.
Whenever struck with the writer's block
The soup's door I invariably knock.
I love to come to the soup to share
Poetry with friends who I know care.
