About This Poem
Scandalous
Scandalous is the man,
who weaves a sticky web.
Careless with his plan,
fortune at his lowest ebb.
Treachery and deceit,
the weapons of his choice.
Now entangled hands and feet,
silent is his voice.
Offensive to propriety,
beware the woman scorned.
Shocking to morality,
the offender was forewarned.
With every look and meeting of
the eye,
regretful that his actions went
awry.
