Isolated within my mind

My mind begins to wander
as I grow fonder
Memories of the past
All gone too fast.
Intrigued in what lies ahead
every night I rest in my bed.
My paths been laid
curious of how it's been made.
Destined to be unchanged
hopefully not pained.
Live life to the fullest
remembering to dodge that bullet.
