About This Poem
My Simple Life
My simple life,
now uncomplicated.
Sharp as a knife,
or a hook that's been baited.
No expectations,
disappointment farewell.
A ship named frustration,
has now set sail.
Released from the prison,
of my own emotions.
A free man risen,
no preconceived notions.
Amazed by the simplicity,
how easy it was to set myself
free.
