About This Poem

Evening in the Town

After a good rain, when it’s almost dark There mills around some good people out In an old town, the center they embark Standing in front of their stores owners shout Welcoming in all those that are about The night skyline is bright, a great beauty The town is the place that you want to be During this hour of early evening time Many stroll down the street where they can see The clock tower which masterfully chimes

Nice picture Russell. I wrote a couple poems inspired by your moon contest, I can't enter them because the form is wrong but I thought being you inspired me you might enjoy reading my tale. Have a great evening Russell.
