Harvest Moon -- Lughnasadh Haiku

**I wrote against traditional 5 -7-5 and twisted to 7-5-7 on these...can I do that?**

1.
Looking up in the sky at
A full harvest moon
Cool, aglow this autumn night

2.
Mists circle in, surrounding
Earth's last summer song
Warm nights are now memories

3.
The Hunter calls the Chosen
To this sacred grove
Children of seasons gather

4.
The leaves--brown and gold and red
Signify the end
Of summer's warmth and passion

5.
Souls are drawn within, waiting
Keeping close to home
Till winter's dying cycle

I like the way you twisted the haiku... ha ha , i enjoy it when poets break the haiku golden rules. your left a beautiful and deep portrait of the undying moon moaning stars within the night, almost like a bygone era. and still the moon will sit there far into the sky. tucking away as seasons come and go. i call this gem a moon charm... adding the inspiration to my fave's always~ LINDA
