About This Poem
The Seduction
Girl, you walked into my life,
good God All Mighty, like no other.
You cut my heart out with your knife,
and then held me like my mother.
You put scratches on my back,
and then grilled me a steak.
You threw this train off track,
you kept me up until daybreak.
Sugar, I've got nothing left,
you've licked all the honey from this hive.
You should be locked up for theft,
I'm just lucky to be alive.
Baby, your evil, I can't see you again,
I need till tomorrow for these wounds to mend.
