Under Disbelief

                                            Under a rainbow lies darkness…
                                       Below the colors, spilled forgiveness…

A bird in a box whose wings are silenced…
Etched on a wall is pure defiance…

Innocence invaded by fear and disbelief…
                                              A torn smile uncovers grief…

Squinting eyes slowly close and sleep…
As tears dry and darkness creeps…

inspired by the movie
"The Raven"

LIke Gail says this is a powerful image. I am trying to remember this movie. It seems there have been been more than one Raven movies. But of course, they would all be dark! I like this one, Michael. So nice to hear from you. BTW, you should go see that new movie, dark skies. Talk about dark!!!
