Death of A Bug

Death of a Bug
A bug flutters its wings as it tries to escape, as a watery grave is its fate.
Its efforts are futile as the water holds on. Soon oh so soon its life will be gone.
Suddenly a leaf floats by and grabs a leg as the bug pulls itself from danger.
How ironic to be saved by a stranger. As the bug test its wings for flight and begins to
Lift from its fright, a trout jumps from the water catching its prey then sinks into
The bay.
Such is life and the death of a bug.

Not only of bugs, an allegory of all living creatures. That is why we must live each day to its fullest. A good write. Rick
