About This Poem
Push
Winds been hushed and calmly purr
As the cello echos earthly sound
Waves have pushed and clutched once more
Toes buried in the lifeless ground
The last of life and nature's vines
May twirl around her feet
His voice has bellowed in the wind
Strong and deep and honey-sweet
But in time there were no calls for her;
From her love and greatest friend. .
The silence in the night become her
And pull her naked body in
Had she drown instead inside his voice
Instead the ocean's open wealth
Their love could live 'til after death
Yet she did this to her self. .
