RED SCARLET HEART

‘RED SCARLET HEART’

Cardinal desire misled chastened into submission instead
To tread water in the deep end of humanity a ruby watershed
Surrender is fed comfort zones of self-destruction fine tapered threads
A sharp silver flash of bloodshed releasing all pain in crimson red

Armoured withdrawal begins to spread- unseen by others, well read
Realisation of vermilion hidden- a personal undisclosed habit forbidden
Destructive behaviour trivialized, always recognised, seldom actualised
Pain divides an element of blank-one battle, one person to thank

A surrealistic rosy escape- ongoing dysfunction a mammoth mistake
The easy way out drowning hurt and fear-- piercing hearts with razor sharp spears
Carefully constructed isolation is violated- forced visitation, medical annihilation
Therapeutically enhancing Picasso on the wall- reflective perceptions- inevitably reality calls

Hi Kim, It looks like you have opened up your own scarlet heart in the writing of this piece. A song of colour and Life and pain. Isn't it strange Kim, how you can write a piece and not everyone does see the same as you saw when you were writing it. Well kim you have pulled out all the stops with this one. I don't know if I'm seeing what you saw. I see pain. Always let your heart sing my friend. Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MIKE.
