Invocation
Because we wish to follow You, Oh Lord,
your Spirit's voice compels our souls to hear.
Please guide our thoughts whene'er we bow in prayer.
It's not the asking what we want that's prayer,
but insights from your will, we seek, Oh Lord.
Please help us focus long enough to hear.
Reveal what You desire our hearts to hear;
your Spirit interceding for our prayer.
With your deep wisdom, we mature, Oh Lord.
We thank You, Lord, you hear our ev'ry prayer.
