This isn’t about a passing fancy or romantic whim
This isn’t about clever-sounding words or rhyme
It's about a steady fire kindled within the heart
It’s a flame of love grown stronger with time
It’s about learning the fine art of compromise
It’s about the gentle balance of give-and-take
It’s about truth, honesty, friendship, and trust
It’s about the willingness to forgive a mistake
It’s an unpredictable adventure of discovery
It’s about two personalities blending as one
It’s a marriage, with Christ as its foundation
It’s a husband and wife united in God’s Son
