Who Am I, Really

Could I have always been wrong about me?
I don't think I even know who I am anymore
I don't have the strength to fix myself
There's a three-foot deep glass door
Infront of me and my reflection
But the inside and out, don't match
So I can't tell if it's really me
And I'm not really much of a catch
The only thing I can do is this
But in battle I lost my own game
I wasn't humbled, just remorse
Trying, fumbling for my own name
I think I've always been wrong about me
I don't really know who I am
I don't know that I ever did
But I hope that one day I can

You are a spiritual being having a physical experience . Rod Mckuen once wrote if I don't know who I am maybe I can go back and find out who I was. I gave up that quest . I live in the moment and ask not who am I,but what can do for myself and others. It is a lot more fun that way and also rewarding, your freind michael
