Dispersed Dreams and Visions

Dispersed Dreams and Visions Dawn awakens to dreams of magic dust Captured in an avalanche Of visions slumbered Dreams and visions evaporate quickly When aired in morning’s first light Slipping from present view Scattered images fade all to quickly like morning snow melts away slowly into the ground Crumbling thoughts of dreamland adventure Swept rapidly from mind’s sight Longing for breath of light
By: Debra Squyres 2013 All Rights Reserved Kimo Cluster inspired by the following written comment of Robert Johnson on one of my poems: “So many times we lose the fight to capture thoughts that we don't write. Dawning dreams of magic dust We breathe it in, it turns to rust. An avalanche of slumber snow. Covers up what we no longer know.”

wow, way to get yourself inspired. Isn't Robert marvelous the way he does those rhyming comments? I swear some of his comments he ought to bottle them and then post them as his own poetry. He would have a lot more poems posted and very worthy ones!

Oh yes he is !! I've told him he needs to place them in his poem list. This one could stand alone... I wonder why he isn't writing. Though I know he has limited time of computer use. Sad, for he is a good poet.
