About This Poem

Epiphany

Weighted under skies painted black and gray
Seems like dusk in the middle of the day

I feel kind of strange, like something is awry
I just want to crawl back in bed and cry

But then comes this moment, in a casual glance
It catches my eye and my heart starts to dance

It’s like I’ve been given a little gift
I feel my spirits beginning to lift

The weight I’ve been feeling has vanished into air
The sight that I’m seeing is so beautifully rare

For the clouds have opened mysteriously
And through them shines an epiphany

As per your comment on my footle contest...to express my gratitude I have composed an absolutely ridiculous one for you (you gotta tough footle name madame!)....I understand Ms. Lucas is sponsoring a new contest...while judging, I hope she will not get overstressed...I would hate to see this make a nervous: 'Wreck a'-Becca'...( yeah, I know, you don't have to tell me)
